listening to radiohead-everything in its right place.
im well aware that every muslim has heard a khutbah in their life mainly before friday prayers. Ill also guess that most, probably 90% of the prechers make you want to sleep right after 10 minutes of the lecturer. Mainly what they talk about is dont do that dont do this, pray five times a day, never forget Allah and blah blah blah. But have you ever had a meaningful experience while waiting for friday prayers? something that would really lift your spirits up? something worth taking into account?something you havent heard before. Well i might have had some experience from probably a university prof come and talk straight about whats going on in the islamic world and how to respect other as muslims.but that must be only once in my life i think. How can one advance when the person that they are listening to spends most of their time in a coffee shop or sitting at home all day thinking what to say when the next friday prayers comes up. My opinion is that to educate ourself is that the one educating us knows really about what is important in islam and what it is all about,PEACE!(well it really means submission to god)but its all about peace. So instead of saying owh kafir is that kafir is this, their not like us,were way better, ten times better. We should be telling our fellow muslims that to have peace we must make peace. This too can end the long racial argument that has been happening. The truth is we are afraid because we are different but deep inside were still human. Allah said he had made every creature of the same speacies equal.god or bad, islam or not we are the same.so love each other because any other way we still are brothers and sisters from the same decendant.be caring and look under the skin and touch be as one,i got work to,im slacking haha i got to go.try and get along will ya.:)
